I wouldl ike to plan a kitchen as the flooring, furniture, etc needs to be replaced what is the best shop to get these products from and is there a website that could help with planning a kitchen.

You are doing it right. Plan before you start and have a good plan before you spend any money.
We redid our kitchen, a few years ago.
Our help came from the very competent planner at our local Home Depot. He spent many hours with us helping us to answer all of our questions. He also helped me sort out what I really wanted to eventually use my kitchen for. It seemed obvious for cooking but he gave many other ideas.
I ended up with a beautiful kitchen that is truly the center of our home.
Some of the things he mentioned were appliances (what kind..wall oven, cooktop, side by side refrigerator, cabinet doors to cover fridge, kitchen island carts both options portable or stationary etc. There is a good source below to help with this.) It was amazing how much help he gave.
The neat thing is: we didn’t buy the cabinets from HomeDepot or the appliances. We had them custom-made and got most of our appliances at the sears outlet (GE Profile). Sometimes, sitting down with a person is so much better than plans on the computer.
